We’re excited to announce a powerful new feature that brings added clarity, transparency, and accountability to your delivery process: Proof of Upload.
With this functionality, riders can upload images as evidence for specific order statuses, ensuring every step of the delivery journey is documented with visual proof. This feature is now available on both the Web Portal and the Rider App.
🚀 What’s New? #
You can now attach photographic proof for the following statuses:
- Picked up from merchant
- Delivered by pickup rider
- Delivered
- Partially Delivered
- Return to destination warehouse
📸 How It Works #
Uploading Proof is Simple and Flexible:
- Image Guidelines: Upload up to 4 images per status (max 5MB each). Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP.
- Preview Before Submitting: View a small preview of your selected image. If it’s incorrect, simply remove and re-upload.
- App-Exclusive Camera Access: On the Rider App, riders can upload from their gallery or capture a new photo instantly.
- Optional Upload: Status updates can still be made without proof—this is an additional, optional layer of documentation.
💡 Why is This Useful? #
Imagine a rider tries to deliver a package, but the customer does not answer their phone. The rider updates the order as “Return to destination warehouse”.
With Proof of Upload, the rider can take a screenshot of their call log showing unanswered calls. This proof protects the rider, supports customer service inquiries, and builds trust across the entire delivery chain.
👀 Viewing Uploaded Proof #
- Go to the View Order module.
- Open the Order History section.
- For any status update with proof, click “View Proof Images” to see all associated images.
🔒 Your Proof is Always Safe #
- Uploaded images are never lost, even if a status is reversed.
- If you return to the same status later, your previously uploaded images will still be visible.
