We’re excited to announce that we have released significant update to our SMS settings, providing you with more flexibility and control over your SMS service providers.
This update introduces the ability to configure multiple providers, including new support for OAuth-based services like Hutch, and manage them through a new, intuitive interface.
Key Features:
✅Multiple Provider Support: You can now configure and save credentials for multiple SMS providers simultaneously. The system supports both traditional API key-based providers (like Dialog, under the Other type) and modern OAuth based providers.
✅New OAuth Provider Type: We have added a new OAuth configuration option to support services like Hutch. This includes fields for:
* Auth URL, Token Refresh URL, Send SMS URL
* Username & Password
* Campaign Name & Mask (Sender ID)
✅”Is Default” Switch: This is the most critical part of the new feature. You must select one service to be the active, default provider for sending all SMS messages.
✅Only the service with the Is Default toggle enabled will be used to send messages.
✅Enabling Is Default for one provider will automatically disable it for any other configured provider.
✅How to Configure Your SMS Provider:
- Navigate to Settings > General > Notifications.
2. Click the three-dot menu (…) and select Configure SMS.
3. In the pop-up window, select the appropriate provider type tab: Other or OAuth.
4. Fill in the required credentials (URL, ID, Password, Mask, etc.) provided by your SMS service.
5. Crucially, activate the Is Default toggle for the service you want to use.
6. Click Submit to save your configuration.
7. (Optional) Enter a phone number and click Send Test SMS to ensure the settings are correct.
Important Note: To ensure your SMS messages are sent correctly, please verify that you have selected the desired service provider and enabled the Is Default switch for it. If you are switching from an existing provider to a new one, you must go into the settings and set the new provider as the default.
